Answer

1. Determine the database to search by answering the following questions:

When was the film released?
Film reviews usually come out shortly after the film has been released in theatres, but it may also have been reviewed at the time the video or DVD version was released, or if it was included in lists like the American Film Institute Century Collection. Choose a database that covers those time periods.

What type of review do you need? (general interest or scholarly)
Most film reviews are published in newspapers and magazines, but it is also possible to find reviews in scholarly journals.

2. Pick an appropriate database.

3. Search one or more distinctive phrases from the film title in Keywords or All fields

Names of actors, directors, studios, etc. may help to narrow your search. Remember that the title of the review may not include the film title in it.
