Some ebooks can be downloaded, and some cannot. Unfortunately, Safari Books Online and ACLS Humanities Ebooks cannot be downloaded. However, ebooks from EBL can be downloaded. Ebooks from EBSCO also may be downloaded to your computer (please click here for more information on EBSCO ebooks).
To download an EBL book to your computer, follow these instructions:
First, you must install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer. You may then proceed to download EBL ebooks to your computer.
After you have located the ebook that you want to download, select "Read Online."
Then, select the "download" tab.
Select the number of days in the loan period, and click "Download." The ebook will be available for you to read in Adobe Digital Editions. After the loan period expires, you may download it again if necessary.
