Q. I bought an ebook myself, and it is on own personal reading device (Kindle, iPad, etc.). Can I donate that ebook to the library?

Probably not. Most ebooks you would have bought for yourself via places like Amazon’s Kindle store or the iBooks app on your iPad are only licensed for use by an individual, not by multiple users at a library. If you are interested in purchasing a specific ebook for the library, contact Ann Roll, Collection Development Librarian. We can investigate if the ebook that would like to purchase for the library is available for library use.
