Q. How much can I print, download, or cut and paste from an ebook?

There are different restrictions for different ebook collections. Follow these guidelines:

Download to mobile devices?

Yes, but the Bluefire app is required. Follow these instructions.

20% of each book. The details tab within the book shows how many pages equal 20% for a specific book.

5% of each book. The details tab within the book shows how many pages equal 5% for a specific book.

Up to 7 days, but each book can be borrowed repeatedly after each loan period

Safari Tech Books Online

No, books must be read online through a browser

No, books must be read online through a browser

Can only print one page at a time

Not available for all books, but when available, can copy one page at a time

ACLS Humanities Ebooks

No, books must be read online through a browser

Can print up to three pages at a time

Can only copy when viewing pages as “text”, not as images or pdfs.
