Q. general questions about an ebrary book

Hello, it's Roberta at the Reference Desk again!

I helped a patron access the ebrary ebook Basic Structural Dynamics.
https://opac.fullerton.edu/search/t?SEARCH=basic+structural+dynamics&sortdropdown=-&searchscope=7&submit=Search
She had a few questions:

Can she download the .pdf for 14 days as it says on the website?
Can she print the book? (I did tell her she could print a few pages ...15? 45? I can't remember.)

I've told her the answer is probably not for both of her questions but I promised I'd double-check with you.
She awaits your answer.

Thanks much,
Roberta

Hi,

According to http://proquest.libguides.com/ebrary she can download the ebrary Academic Complete books for 14 days as long as she gets Adobe Digital Editions. If she just wants part of the book she can also download a PDF of a chapter or 60 pages. Printing is also 60 pages (except for a few publishers), I think. See http://support.ebrary.com/kb/category/en/copyprint/

There are also mobile apps, but she'll need to link her email address to a passcode (see #4 on http://support.ebrary.com/kb/category/en/mobileapp/).
