Q. How do I request a book from the shelves?

After searching for an item in OneSearch, click on the item you wish to request from the stacks. You will need to sign in to your account using your faculty/staff/student login to access the request feature. After signing in, choose the desk (Pollak Library/Irvine Center) where you would like the item delivered. Click on 'Request' and when the item has been retrieved an email will be sent alerting you to pick the item up at the appropriate desk. The expected turnaround is 24 hours after the request is made.

Community members without a library account can have material paged using the Item Search Request form.
