Q. How do I find and use microfilm or microfiche in the library?

Location:

• Microfilm and microfiche are in the basement of Pollak Library North

Finding Items:

• Use the journal title search or the OneSearch to publications by Keyword or Title
• Set the sort option to 'Periodical (Print/Online) Newspaper Only' to limit results to periodicals and microfilm
• If the library owns the title, note the call number and use the elevators to go to the basement north
• Microfilm cabinets are around the perimeter of the compact stacks

Viewing Microfilm:

• The digital microfilm reader is located in the basement north near the microfilm and microfiche. Users can scan to multiple formats (PDF, TIFF, etc.) and save images to a USB
